Terms of Service

Plain terms for a trust product. This page is a template for an early-stage product and isn't legal advice.

01

The agreement

These terms govern your access to and use of File2Insight. By creating an account or uploading a file, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and any firm you represent.

If you don't agree, don't use the service. We'll post material changes here and update the date above.

02

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your workspace and for keeping credentials secure. Reviewer roles and sign-off are yours to assign — the accountability they record is real.

You must be authorized to upload any file you bring, including files containing a client's data.

03

Acceptable use

Use File2Insight to clean, reconcile, and report on data you have the right to process. Don't attempt to break tenant isolation, reverse the service, or upload unlawful content.

Automated abuse, scraping, or attempts to exceed plan limits programmatically may result in suspension.

04

Your data, your numbers

You retain ownership of the files you upload and the cleaned outputs you produce. We process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.

Reconciliation and sign-off records exist to make your numbers defensible; we don't sell your data or use client files to train models.

05

Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence shown at checkout. Limits (clients, files, scheduled pipelines) are listed on the pricing page and enforced per plan.

You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

06

Warranties & liability

File2Insight is a tool that supports your professional judgment; it does not replace it. The service is provided “as is,” and to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior twelve months.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
